Real Car Turned into RC Using LEGO
Hey guys it’s been a while, ideas for UA-cam videos often come and go.  but for some reason I had this crazy idea. I wasn’t really motivated to make another video with this idea just kept me up all night. Driving a car using Lego has always been in the back of my mind, and I just now made a decision to finally go after it . creating ideas is very difficult. You have to work with what you have and the idea must be practical enough yet entertaining.

Here’s my LEGO Honda b series engine. This engine is a MOC and was designed from scratch using BrickLink studio. The pistons are diecast metal and needed a few modifications to be compatible with LEGO including Boring out the hole for the connecting rod to fit the crank shaft.

If you’re like me you hate the design of the normal Lego cylinders. The thing is is that they’re just so spaced out it makes them look like a big black V-8. This time I make my own custom block so now the proportions are similar to that of a Honda engine.

We took the famous toy corn popper and strapped it to the back of a Honda CRV. This is a similar mechanism to a two-stroke engine , a piston bounces up and down to rattle the balls. We wanted to see how fast this mechanism could handle. We had it attached to one arm that can move up and down so we can drop it at speed or start dragging it from the beginning.
